Mex Films is an independent production company based in Iran, dedicated to distinctive, story-driven cinema beyond the mainstream.
Since 2016, we have produced eight short films and are currently finalizing our first feature, Tragic Cases.
Our work is shaped by collaboration, persistence, and a deep commitment to the craft of filmmaking.
We build films designed to travel — narratively grounded, carefully constructed, and open to international audiences.

After a thirteen-year-old boy kills his employer and claims abuse, his father takes the blame to protect him—leaving the boy adrift on the blurred line between victim and perpetrator.
